Quality child care is a valuable service to families and communities. It is DHS’s role to enforce Iowa Code as the regulatory agency for early childhood care and education. DHS licensing and registration consultants complete unannounced site visits to assure minimum health and safety requirements are met. CCR&R supports providers in complying with state regulations. CCR&R Child Care Consultants are committed to helping providers meet and exceed the licensing and minimum requirements that DHS enforces.
